Silvia Raquel German was born in Córdoba, Argentina. She graduated as National Painting Teacher from Córdoba National University where she taught from 1971 to 2004. She lived three years in Milan (1967-1970) where she was involved in intense artistic activity. She was invited to participate in “Premio San Fedele” and “Premio Nazionale de Pittura Il Covone D'Oro”, held a solo exhibition at Galeria L'Agrifoglio in Milan and participated in numerous group art exhibitions. In 1969, she studied in Paris with Arno Stern. Back in Argentina, she was invited to take part in “Trienal de Arte”.
